Q: Will my web project with UNet Solutions take me away from work?
Our process is streamlined and efficient for our clients. The initial consultation to discuss project goals and expectations can last an hour or more. All other meetings (like edit reviews and project updates) have a 30 minute limit.
Q: How do you work with clients who are too far, or too busy for an in-person meeting?
We're glad you asked. For each project we provide the client a PVR (Project Viewing Room. It is a convenient way to observe progress, make edit suggestions, and communicate with our design team. This can all be done from anywhere at any time, with a reliable internet connection. We also provide video conferencing.
Q: How long does it take to complete the average web project?
Most projects can be completed in six to eight weeks while more complex projects may need ten or twelve weeks. Site maintenance tasks may take one hour or one day, depending on the nature of the update or repair.
Q: Do you collaborate with designers other than those on your team?
Some teams frown on this but we welcome it. We are glad to work with a client's assigned Marketing or Project Manager. Sometimes we are asked to work with an outside photographer, designer, writer, etc. As long as they are professional and work with us to move the project along, we can play well with just about anyone.
Q: How much does a typical project cost?
This is a bit like asking "how much does a good meal cost?" It really depends on what you like, want and need at the time. When you tell us exactly what you want, we can price our services accordingly. Sometimes we can present a more practical alternative to save you money. Our custom web design projects start around $2500 depending on the complexity. WordPress designs generally start out around $1200 and increase with complexity.
Q: What happens if I experience problems with my site after the project has been built?
We proudly provide a 90 Day Warranty that covers all of the work we do on any given project. We are very proud of this warranty because it extends well beyond the industry standard of 30 days.
Q: How does UNet Solutions bill their clients?
We generally have four billing periods to a project - The Good Faith payment, which kicks off the project, and three milestone payments. A milestone payment is typically due once the client has reviewed and approved that phase, or "milestone" of the project. We have a strict policy that states without client approval the project cannot advance to the next phase.
Q: How can I pay my UNet Solutions invoice?
We offer secure online bill pay for those who prefer to use a credit card for payment. We also accept electronic payment and personal and/or business checks. All payments must be made with US currency.
Q: What will I receive at the close of the project?
When the project has been approved and the project balance has been paid in full, clients receive the work we have done either on CD, or zip file. We will deliver our work in the manner most convenient for our client.
